Day 9 - Lake Alumine to San Martin de Los Andes

Leaving the lake, we passed some Llama wandering in the road. These few are very much out of place as the are not normally seen this far south. These relatives of the Camel are normally found in the far north and in Bolivia and Peru. This lot were totally unfazed by our presence. When you meet horses or cattle on the on the road, it is a completely different story and they are likely to go in any direction.

More dirt roads, more rivers and more wet feet. This crossing (somewhere in the middle of nowhere) was a bit deeper than usual and a guaranteed wet feet experience. Yet again, no comedy moments with stalled engines... but we will continue to film just in case we can part finance this trip by offering a clips to Jeremy Beadle.
