An intereting city pastime is watching traffic. Instructions go like this -
1. Find a busy 4-way junction with no road markings and no road signs
2. Watch traffic
Couldn´t be simpler. If you can get a table and chairs closeby and get served with a chilled bottle of white, so much the better.
This is essentially a game of chicken. For participants the aim is to approach the junction from any direction and cross it without stopping. Simple. I think there might be bonus points if you don´t slow down, but I can´t be sure. People with new european hatchbacks don´t fare well, but dented taxis do rather better.
